About our Sea Amporas: The Romans and Greeks used original amphoras as storage vessels to transport wine, oils and perfumes. We have introduced an innovative and patented method of creating replicas of ancient sunk amphoras. Each of our handcrafted pieces undergo a 3 to 5 year natural accelerated fossilization and decorative process submerged at the bottom of the Mediterranean sea bed. The marine park's protected status allows flora and fauna to flourish, thus transforming each amphora into an entirely authentic ancient looking piece with unique and intricate characteristics. The result is an eye catching reproduction of ancient history which can be used as an original gift or ideal home, hotel, restaurant or spa decoration.
